The design draws inspiration from the rich history of Iraq, presenting a journey that begins with the ancient city of Uruk and progresses towards a futuristic vision of the region.

Starting with Uruk, known for its monolithic yet elegant constructions, the pavilion's envelope captures this essence in its architectural form. Its clean lines and imposing presence evoke the grandeur of Uruk's ancient structures. Moving forward to Babylon, the pavilion features pixelated terraces and gardens spanning from the 2nd to the 3rd floor, culminating at the roof. This element pays homage to the legendary Hanging Gardens and Babylon's terraced architecture, creating a visually dynamic experience.

The narrative continues with Baghdad, represented by the circular urban structure through the ground and first-floor exhibition spaces. These spaces circle around a central yard, facilitating a visitor flow that not only reflects Baghdad's historical layout but also enhances the storytelling aspect of the pavilion.

Finally, the pavilion transitions into the future, represented by modern, curved forms that morph throughout the building. This futuristic vision symbolizes the ongoing development and potential of the region, creating an exciting contrast with the historical elements. The interplay of these forms provides both aesthetic appeal and functional versatility, making the pavilion a dynamic and adaptable space.

In this way, the pavilion does not merely exhibit history but creates an immersive, chronological journey that seamlessly integrates historical homage with forward-looking design, offering visitors a holistic and engaging experience.
